Rostock Expects 192 Call Cruise Season
According to the ‘Cruise Industry News’ the North German port of Rostock/Warnemunde is expecting up to 190 vessel calls in the following Cruise Season.
“The year starts for the port on April 27 with the AIDAdiva, and there are five first-time calls including the Columbus, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Getaway, Seven Seas Explorer and Viking Sky. AIDA will homeport the AIDAdiva and ADIAmara in Rostock for the summer season, while Costa, MSC and Norwegian are also interporting.There will be three four-ship calls, and 14 three-ship days at the port in 2017. The Balmoral will close the 800,000 passenger season on Oct. 12 for Fred. Olsen Cruise Line.”
In other news, the ‘MS Aidaaura’, a cruise ship operated by Aida Cruises from Rostock, Germany, sails at the end of November from Mallorca to the Domincan Republic.
